Welcome To Our Web Page

Pastor Edmund L. Julius and his wife Averil Julius has been the senior Pastor of the Harvest Church since July, 2006.  They are both Christ-filled workers and administrators of the noblest kind.

The Harvest SDA Church is a small Church with a large heart and located in the Harvest, AL community.  We have various activities during the year and our departments and leaders work very well together.  Our main goal is to be ready to meet Jesus when He comes again.

Words from the Pastor:  During our Workers meeting in Nashville, TN we were asked to describe our Church in the year 2010.  Here are a few hopes, dreams and ideas that came to mind:
Adventurers:  100 strong, in uniform with 25 percent non-Adventist.
Pathfinders: 72 strong, in uniform with 12 percent non-Adventist.
Counselors:  22 Counselors in uniform, with 2 being non-Adventist.
Power Hour:  150 Adults, 135 Youth meeting at 8:30 a.m. on Sabbath morning.
Adult Sabbath School: Vibrant and dynamic.
Cradle Roll and Kindergarten:  Teaching the same songs and illustrating the bible stories every week, so that the children will know them by heart by the end of the quarter.  That's what makes your Thirteenth Sabbath a smashing success.
Primary and Junion:  Teaching hands on involvement with the lesson is essential for our young people.
Teens:  They still need and benefit from some guidance but they ned space to develop their identity and independence in a safe environment.
Youth:  They are mature enough to be trained in the most exacting and demanding skills.
Personal Ministries:  A time for preparing for withnessing, reporting about witnessing and also praise and testimony time.
Divine Worship Hour:  There is a special blessing in Divine Worship that we dare not miss which comes only from assembling together.  Many come to receive a blessing; however we should remember that we each bring a blessing with us to Church.
AYS:  We should provide the training and exposure so that our own young people have our confidence to do what God puts on their hearts to do.
Our New Church Building:  Will be designed to facilitate and maximize these ministries rather than trying to function in awkward and strange settings.  Imagine our Church becoming a beehive of activity filled with activity and missionary endeavor every day of the week instead of only weekends and a few hours during the we
