Deacons, likewise, are to be men worthy of respect, sincere, not indulging in much wine, and not pursuing dishonest gain.  1 Tim. 3:8

Our Deacons, led by Head Deacon, C. W. Ross, were an impressive, dignified sight in black and white.  Their simple elegance made a statement attesting to     faithfulness and dignity with which the deacons carry out their responsibility throughout the service. 

Under the capable and supportive leadership of C.W. Ross, it is obvious that all the Deacons get to play their part, both those who lead out in speaking and those who prefer to work quietly behind the scenes.  This type of partnership brings honor to God and advances the work of the Deacons at the Harvest Church and in the Harvest community at large.      We had a model for this leadership style in the experience of David (1 Samuel 30:17-31).
